New study finds 15,000 die annually from CT scan radiation -MONDAY, Dec. 14 (HealthDay News) — Commonly performed CT scansare exposing patients to far more radiation than previously thought and in doses that could cause tens of thousands of cancers a year, two new studies claim.

Mammogram radiation may put some women at risk - CHICAGO - Low-dose radiation from mammograms and chest X-rays may increase the risk of breast cancer in young women who are already at high risk because of family history or genetic susceptibility, Dutch researchers said on Tuesday.
